On Sunday, December 20, 1959, CBS broadcast the Alfred Hitchcock Presents adaptation of Ambrose Bierce's famous short story, "An Occurrence at Own Creek Bridge." In the decades that followed, this short film has been eclipsed by a French adaptation that aired in 1964 on The Twilight Zone. ![]()
